|Recommended: YesResident near Main Entrance Review — Parking is properly one of the biggest problems I encounter in this complex. Granted that we have two cars for one assigned spot, getting a parking spot close to our building is sometimes troublesome.
The noise level isn't too bad, aside from the weekly weed whacking, and being in close proximity to Marguerite Pkwy with all the cars driving by.
Grounds cleanliness is great, no trash or debris and the trees plants flowers all look healthy
Some of parking spaces have uneven pavement and therefore it drops one star for constructions quality, but the material's for the apartment are reasonable for the price.
Maintenance staff is friendly and fairly quick with fixes.
Property staff are friendly too, and usually helpful with questions.
Overall, this is a good place to live for the price and area that we live in. With families living around the complex and a few talkative and friendly neighbors, it seems like a pretty safe community.
|Recommended: YesCould use work but nice to live here — I’ve basically lived here for 2 years going on 3. On and off. My first two years were good, a lot of issues with the other residents loud, smoking weed outside, random cars parked in my stall all the time, people outside just talking sometimes yelling at 3a, cops were always here for some reason . This year, I have only been here for month, parking has improved, I decided to be closer to office, apartment had a lot of issues since day one, we still have a list of things that need to be fixed. The office has always been helpful, especially Peter the manager but unfortunately I noticed their maintenance isn’t always as helpful. Either they don’t come or they don’t fix the problem. We have 9 months left here, I will update or send new review once my lease is coming to an end. OVERALL, it’s improving every year and it’s a very nice area, again I have to give credit to Peter because he genuinely cares and takes all criticism in the best way and makes sure he works on making it better. And he cares about his residents.

Maintenance is top knotch, communicative and clean. Parking, no problems.
Agents are attentive and professional. The entire community is clean including trash, landscape etc.

|Recommended: YesA place of peace — Living at Idyllwillow truly is like living at a resort. The architecture and interior design of the apartments and common areas are modern and beautiful, the grounds are kept clean, and the staff are professional, knowledgable and approachable. It is the perfect place for someone who commutes by public transportation, there are a plethora of nearby bus stations, and for bicycle unmotorized commuters Idyllwillow is located in a prime bicycle commute location. There is a non-negotiable 2 vehicle limit per unit and there are is not alternative parking nearby. I was surprised by how peaceful the community is - primarily made up of families. There are some very friendly neighborhood cats who will let you pet them as you're coming and going from the grounds. The maintenance team is one of the best I've seen, they'll address your issue quickly and if there are more steps required to complete the task they'll let you know what to expect. The gym is small, but it has everything you need to get a good work out Lifetime is 5 minutes away if you prefer going to a full-scale gym. There is a security patrol present at night that you can call or email with any community violation, security, or safety concerns you have or need addressed noisy neighbors, disputes, etc. and the authorities are very close by if there ever was an emergency they'll be there in under 5 minutes. I particularly like that the hospital is also less than a block away if there ever was a medical emergency you're located minutes away from help. Freeway access is close as well as a variety of options for food and beverages Surfin Slouvaki has excellent greek food and has a community-oriented staff, Coffee Bean, Del Taco and Broken Yolk cafe to name a few . Pets are allowed with a reasonable pet deposit. The neighbors here are respectful and keep to themselves mostly, if there ever was an issue the staff and the security patrol is available to help mitigate problems. All in all it is a fantastic place to live.
|Recommended: YesI think it is a little run down ,but it is a good set up with the newer appliances. — That it is a great area to live, starting with the location. We have everything at hand, Post Office, the mall, restaurants, schools, Bus stop facilities, Hospital , but most of all the great staff that this complex offers to help you at anytime, everything is very well organized and explained, they are very polite over the phone as well as in person.
